Neither can I :-(. Internally we support now version less artifacts.
But our notation does not allow to express this. Sorry for this.
Obviously we are not happy with this.
What you can do meanwhile as a work around:
compile(":commons-logging:na") { version = '' } // The notation
requires a version, otherwise we get a parsing error. In the closure
we can overwrite what has been generated out of the notation.
Obviously this is ugly. But at least it works. Expect this to be fixed
in our next release.
