ah, brilliant! Thanks Tom

I'd consider adding them as a separate Appendix to the documentation ASAP
too :-)

A good idea. Can you add a JIRA issue for this?

Hi James,
In the gradle-all.zip there is a samples directory that contains a bunch
of
builds (groovyproject / javaproject / web-project that uses the Jetty
plugin
/ ... ) that we use as integration tests, I hope that they will be
sufficient, if not just let us know so we can add them.

Thx,

Tom

Hi

I've just started to use Gradle, having despaired of Maven since it first
infected projects i was working on. So i'm pretty excited by an
imperative
build tool with sophisticated dependency management.

There seems a big hole in the documentation of complete working examples,
vital for those of us who reason by analogy!

e.g. full working example of a java project build
full working example of web project
full working example of groovy project

and then in an ideal world common variations, e.g. java project using
maven
dependencies, running jetty etc

A good start would be to post the build script you use to build gradle,
then
maybe others who have examples of the above (web, groovy, using pox.xml
for
dependencies etc) could post them?

Or have I been a 'dom persoon' and missed all this under my nose?

Thanks anyway for Gradle
