thanks robert for publishing your code.

to make my plugin (i only have one atm) distributable, 
i build a jar and copy it to the lib/ dir of the gradle-distribution 
+ add a line in plugins.properties.

setup of an 'official' gradle-plugins project @hithub
and definition of a ruleset for plugin-developers would 
probably be what's needed to kick off the eco-system 
for gradle-plugins.

a minimalistik plugins-sdk may be a good idea too.
