Hi,
I fixed the macport bug (https://trac.macports.org/ticket/24295) by
using a bin distribution instead of the source. nevertheless it should
be guaranteed, that a available source distribution can be builded easily.

Hi there,
I've added macports (http://www.macports.org) support for gradle a
while ago to ease the installation of gradle on macos. this gradle
ports downloads the gradle 0.8 release (latest official) and builds it
from the source. but its actually failing because the gradlew setup
which is shipped with gradle 0.8 is removed from the snapshot
directory. So when running "./gradlew clean explodedDistBase
-Dskip.test'" it fails to download
http://snapshots.dist.codehaus.org/gradle/gradle-0.8-20090925104210+1000-bin.zip.
Is there a chance to move this snapshot back to the directory to be
able to build 0.8 out of the box? otherwise I had to patch the gradlew
setup to replace it with a newer (available snapshot)
regards,
René
