We are pleased and excited to announce the addition of a number of leaders in the Groovy and Java communities to Gradleware. You know already about Peter, but his gives you some more background:
Szczepan Faber (Mr. Mockito): Szczepan brings passion for building state of art tools & environments for developers. He is involved in multiple open source projects and the founder of the Mockito framework - a popular mocking framework that augments Test Driven Development. Most of his IT journey, Szczepan was coaching teams on agile engineering practices and enterprise project automation. Peter Niederwieser (Mr. Spock): Peter is a software developer from Austria. His passion for software quality and build automation has been a constant theme in his career. It also lead him to create Spock, an innovation-packed developer testing framework that we have already been using in the Gradle project for a while. Now Peter sets out to make Gradle an even better way to build. Ken Sipe (Mr. Rockstar): Ken brings to Gradleware the right combination of technical prowess and executive leadership to take on the role of CTO. Ken's IT career has been focused on helping many US-based companies with the "engineering" discipline of writing high quality software, through healthy iterative processes and the best of breed tooling to create a better return on their investment. With the industry movement from continuous integration to continuous delivery, Ken sees Gradleware as being strategically positioned to add the best value to the industry. Ken Sipe is an open source advocate and passionate speaker being honored to receive the JavaOne Rockstar award and the top speaker award at JavaZone in 2009.
