We have noticed that in our gradle builds the artifacts get checked
for updates several times during the build. We experimented with the
systemProp.ivy.cache.ttl.default setting to stop this behavior.
This did significantly improve our build duration, but if the ttl is
too long it won't pick up new artifacts the next time the build is
run. What we really want is for the build to check ONCE per build
session.
Is there anyway to do this?
