Hi richard,
there is a public artifactory repository that contains gradle snapshots.
you can have a look at
http://gradle.artifactoryonline.com/gradle/distributions/gradle-snapshots/
for those snapshots. It seems that the latest uploaded snapshot was
build on monday. not sure if the fix was already in this snapshot.
Otherwise you need to build it from source.
