Hi Peter, frankly I've never seen it in action. I was only trying to understand why groovy compiler fails claiming that somewhere there is a Field of type Log (from commons-logging) after I changed my deps from springframework standard artifacts to osgi packaged ones. Since I saw there's such option on groovyc ant task I guess it could give me some more info on which class triggers this issue (i.e. depends upon commons-logging, while spring-framework doesn't provide it anymore) In the meantime I explicitly added as a workaround... but I still just wonder where the hell this compilation dep comes from Cheers Davide -- View this message in context: http://gradle.1045684.n5.nabble.com/Is-there-a-way-to-tell-the-groovy-compiler-to-be-more-verbose-tp4891067p4895918.html Sent from the gradle-user mailing list archive at Nabble.com. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, please visit: http://xircles.codehaus.org/manage_email
