Hi howard,
at the moment there is no additional process dedicated to jettyrun
started, so you have to the the system properties directly for your
gradle process. the easiest way for this is modifying the
gradlew/gradlew.bat file.

configuration from a JVM system property (this is how it knows whether
it is in development mode or production mode).
