Now that is pure sophistry!
In a situation where everyone is told "use the forum or get no
response", it is hardly surprising the forum has the majority of users.
Those who like or can just about tolerate forums use them, the rest of
us fade away from the activity and are no longer counted. But I am still
an active advocate for Gradle despite that.
It remains a major faux pas of the forum provider that they are
technically unable to support a proper email interface. If they are the
bleeding edge then the NNTP interfaces of 20 years ago (still in use
today cf. the D community) remain the superior mechanism: forum and
email all in the same system. But then it is not shiny and new and
cloudy, so I guess it is beneath the horizon for the cool hipsters.
