As for the upgrade scripts, they are included with the extension. From the
chapter in the manual which covers all this [1]:
"Important
If you are upgrading from an older version of Guacamole and were already
using MySQL, you may need to run one or more database schema upgrade
scripts located within the schema/upgrade/ directory. Each of these
scripts is named upgrade-pre-VERSION.sql where VERSION is the version of
Guacamole where those changes were introduced. They need to be run when
you are upgrading from a version of Guacamole older than VERSION.

Please look through the website and read through the relevant documentation
in the manual. Things should become clearer for you.
