Currently versions 1.0, and 1.1, and 1.2 (not released, but available with git) will work for Guacamole. Version 2.0 support is underway, but it is a non-trivial effort and is not slated for the upcoming 1.0.0 release, so it's not getting a lot of attention at the moment.
