I haven't found anything relevant yet with debian or ubuntu but with
centos 6 I found an error but do not know how to correct it.
The guacamole manual says to add:
load-module module-native-protocol-tcp auth-ip-acl=192.168.1.0/24
auth-anonymous=1
To /etc/pulse/default.pa
But I am getting this error in syslog:
Mar 3 02:30:25 centos6 pulseaudio[12352]: module.c: Failed to load module
"module-native-protocol-tcp" (argument: "auth-ip-acl=204.122.16.0/24
auth-anonymous=1"): initialization failed.
Mar 3 02:30:25 centos6 pulseaudio[12352]: main.c: Module load failed.
Mar 3 02:30:25 centos6 pulseaudio[12352]: main.c: Failed to initialize daemon.
Mar 3 02:30:25 centos6 pulseaudio[12350]: main.c: Daemon startup failed.
So on Centos 6 at least this would explain why audio isn't working.
It does not fail however when run through x2go. X2go tunnels audio over
ssh but the exact details of how it does this I am not familiar. I don't
need to add that line for audio to work with x2go.
