Hi all,

I'm curious why guacamole doesn't work with Windows 10 or Server 2016/19 without registry changes. I have a fresh Docker install of guacamole and a fresh VM of Windows 2019. I can connect to my VM using the Windows RD Client just fine. However, I can't make the connection with guacamole. I have NLA enabled on the VM, and set explicitly in guacamole. That doesn't work. Similarly, if I disable NLA on the VM, and leave the guacamole security option blank, it doesn't work. However, if I follow the registry changes outlined here: https://mangolassi.it/topic/17846/make-windows-10-server-2016-rdp-work-with-guacamole everything starts working. This registry entry doesn't seem to correspond to any Windows/guac setting I can find...

What gives? Is this a bug? Or a design choice?

Thanks,

Aram
