Can you describe this process in more detail?  So, if "User A" logs into
the proxy, how does it determine what connection data to generate, and what
sort of data is filled in (hostname, port, username, password, protocol,
etc.)?  How does that data differ if "User B" logs in?

Yes, there are several.

There is not a direct replacement for the NoAuth extension, however there
is probably a way to accomplish what you're trying to do.  It's just a
matter of figuring how to work best between the tools you're using.
