If the time limit is consistent and such a nice round number, I would look toward the group policies on your remote desktop. There may be policies in place which restrict the maximum duration of remote desktop sessions. If your slower connection is over a mobile network, your network provider may also be enforcing a maximum duration on TCP connections, which would unfortunately be outside your control. - Mike
