Tomcat may not be logging to /var/log/messages - in some situations it does, however, in many situations there is a specific Tomcat log file. If you are seeing absolutely no messages related to Tomcat or Guacamole, then you're probably looking in the wrong place. Locate the Tomcat log file (often catalina.out) and see if any messages show up there. -Nick
