Hi Cristian,
in my first attempt to install Guacamole I used this script:

https://github.com/MysticRyuujin/guac-install

but the latest install I just made is based upon Docker images.

Maybe you can think about reinstalling Guacamole from scratch with Docker and
set the Guacamole Home folder in a mapped volume, where you will copy all the
old configuration files.
It will be a longer road to the upgrade, but I think the best when you think
about future upgrades.

Best regards.
Lorenzo

I'm not sure about the database, probably not.

The question was of to ungrade to a new version.

I tried apt-get upgrade in ubuntu, but guacamole is still old.

Is there an undate script somewhere?

Can I use it with my curent version?

Do guacamole need a database in the most recent versions?

Thanks!!

Hi everybody and thanks for your great job,

I'm using guacamole on a small ubuntu server.

I'dd like to upgrade from 0.8.4 version (I installed a lot of years ago)
and I wold like to keep my configuration.

Is there an easy way?

Wow, that is quite an old version. Yes, you can keep your configuration, but if
you're using a database you will need to go through each of the SQL scripts for
upgrading from one version to the next. This is described in the manual:

https://guacamole.apache.org/doc/gug/jdbc-auth.html#upgrading-an-existing-guacamole-database
