It doesn’t show any error messages in the guacd logs, rather tried it out and worked, but here’s the strange thing:
1. Like how I use an URL to just RDP into my VM( not the Hyper-V VM) worked perfectly fine, I used the pre-connection blob with the Hyper-V VM ID, and instead of pointing to my Hyper-V VM, it was pointing to my VM. 1. Instead I tried doing this manually from the Guacamole client, and from here it is able to rdp into my Hyper-V VM over port 2179 with security set to vmconnect, not sure why with the URL it was directing me towards my VM, but if I do it on the Guacamole client, it is has no issues connecting directly to the Hyper-V VM From: Michael Jumper<mailto:[email protected]> Sent: 18 May 2023 20:59 To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: Re: Question Regarding Connections to Hyper-V VMs On 5/18/23 04:22, Shashank D wrote: > Hello, > > I have been successful in setting up my guacamole client, and RDP to a > virtual machine(VM) seems to be working just fine. So, is my understanding right based on the docs or > am I missing something? > Did you set the security mode of the connection to "Hyper-V / VMConnect"? When the connection fails, what error is shown?
