To update, assuming you have been building from source, you just replace
the installed binaries with the newer versions and then restart services:
1) Download the updated Guacamole .war file, replacing the one you
currently have deployed.
2) Download the updated versions of any extensions, replacing the
versions you currently have installed (do *not* keep multiple versions
of the same extension installed).
3) Download and build the source for guacamole-server, replacing the
install of guacd, etc. that you currently have.
4) Restart guacd and Tomcat.

official documentation with the steps to follow, just an unofficial
script that it's not working, after launch it the version is the same
one and the database content is removed because connections list is empty.
