Hi Nick, Ivan

thank you for quick reply,

Fortunately it was my mistake. Target workstation was virtual machine and I was not aware that I , by a chance, left it in "wrong" subnet from where DC was not reachable.

Aug 22 07:49:04 rdp-izor guacd[51369]: RDP server closed/refused connection: Authentication failure (invalid credentials?) Aug 22 07:49:04 rdp-izor guacd[51369]: guacd[51369]: INFO: RDP server closed/refused connection: Authentication failure (invalid credentials?)

The error was Auth-failure whenever I tried to login with domain user, but as soon as I tried local user with rdp permissions it worked!        MS-rdp-client does not work in this scenario either (domain-user, dc not reachable).

Further on, after  DC  was reachable again , domain user login was success too.

So I was actually "misled"  by domain-user console-login to that VM because VM let me in with cached password when DC was not reachable and in this "logged" state guac-rdp worked too.

.. to conclude at the end, Guacamole RDP behaviour is very high MS-RDP compliant/compatible/usable!

What errors are you seeing from guacd when the connection fails?
