These files are being transferred from a Windows machine to a Linux server. Non-Office files, such as PDFs, work fine, but any Office file transferred via RDP results in an empty file on the Linux side. If I manually copy Office files locally to the Linux server’s directory, they open and function properly, but transfers through RDP create zero-byte files. Download files to my local machine works fine. It’s only when I attempt to copy files from my local machine to VDI. Error: File open refused (-2): "\desktop.ini" File open refused (-2): "\Guacamole_RDP_Virtual_Drive_Setup_Guide.docx • Verified directory and file permissions, ensuring they are accessible to the Guacamole service user. • Tested with other file types such as PDFs, which work fine over RDP.
