You are correctly authenticated on Guacamole. You can use the keyboard
shortcut CTRL/ALT/SHIFT to display the menu.
Currently, Guacamole tries to connect to a remote server configured in
user-mapping.xml. If you have the same configuration as the one below,
the requested identifiers are those of the VM hosting guacamole.
Otherwise these are the credentials of the host referenced in the
"hostname" param.
<connection name="Unique Name">
<protocol>ssh</protocol>
<param name="hostname">localhost</param>
<param name="port">22</param>
</connection>
These settings are documented here:
https://guacamole.apache.org/doc/gug/configuring-guacamole.html#user-mapping-xml

Hey,
Thanks for the reply.
I added the user-mapping.xml in the /etc/guacamole folder, as there
existed no such file. When I wanted to login to the webpage I created
it after some searches. Just as I enter the username and password
mentioned by me in the XML file, I am asked again for login ID and
password.
So I need to use credentials of the user I have on my Cloud VM where I
have Guacamole setup? Is that correct?

Dev

Hello,
Guacamole attempts to connect directly via SSH to a remote host because
you probably have only one host configured. You must enter the
credentials associated with this host.
Optionally, you can add the login and password in the connection
concerned so that you no longer have to enter them each time you
connect.
This is done in the user-mapping.xml or in the back office if you have
installed a jdbc extension.

Hello,
I have just installed the apache guacamole on my VM and when i try to
login to the web UI it asks me for another login and password. I tried
the the credentials that i used on the 1st attempt of login but still
cant access it.
I have attached the screenshots for the same.
