Dear all,
recently updated from 1.5.5 to 1.6.0 - Issue observed:
after upgrading to version 1.6.0, VNC sessions with remote UltraVNC
versions newer than 1.3.x are no longer functioning correctly.
Tested and confirmed:
UltraVNC 1.3.x - works
UltraVNC 1.4.3.6 (and newer) - does not work
Guacamole successfully establishes a VNC connection to the remote host,
and the initial screen is displayed in the browser (tested with FF,
EDGE).
While mouse and keyboard inputs are processed correctly via Guacamole,
the screen remains frozen and does not update.
This was verified using both a direct monitor view and the Guacamole
session.
Reverting to version 1.5.5 resolves the issue - everything works as
expected with all of our widely installed 1.3x - 1.6x UltraVNC versions.
Any help is appreciated.
