Thanks for replying with your work-around, Tony - as mentioned by Vincent, this 
appears to be broken due to upstream dependencies that we need to update. I 
suspect that the upstream dependency in question, MyBatis, might have bumped 
the Java version requirement up and that may be why we didn't go to that 
version, but I haven't verified that. Anyway, we'll try to get that fixed in a 
future release, and maybe add the download of the MariaDB JDBC driver, as well.
