We are not sure. We though it should just be "http-auth-header: X_USER_UID" but you got thinking so we've just tried "http-auth-header: HTTP_X_USER_UID" also but it didn't work. Earlier I set the header to be REMOTE_USER as that seems like the default but it didn't work either.
