Build breaks on FreeBSD

I am trying to fix the FreeBSD port for Hadoop. It almost builds, but 
breaks in the end, can't find the "./share" directory: 
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-16388

Could somebody please help with this?
