sorry, my bad, I had just read that HBase is good for writes, and not so good for reads. Those nosql comparisons can be quite confusing for the newbie :( Coming to think of it, fast writes with slow updates/deletions doesn't even make sense. My apologies... thanks for pointing out, Stack.
