Hi, This mail is to announce the open sourcing of Crux, a web based reporting and charting application for HBase. Crux is Apache Licensed and helps to expose the data stored in HBase to business and technical users. Using Crux, you can perform gets and range scans on your HBase tables and display the results in grid or multiple chart formats. Crux supports simple row keys, or composite HBase keys which can be queried for individually. You can provide filters to select the rows and columns you want to display on your reports. Crux works with your own schema by letting you define a mapping through the web gui. Crux user group is at http://groups.google.com/group/cruxUsers.
