Maybe, depends on what you use Netezza for. The value of Netezza is that it is a prepackaged commercial system. The advantage of open source NoSQL databases is that you can match the tool to the task. And with a hadoop cluster, you could conceivably run HBase, Hive, Pig, Solr, MongoDB, etc. all on the same set of hardware to take advantage of each tools strengths. However, the disadvantage of the open source approach is that it is not prepackaged, and it requires significant expertise to get to a place where you can make a direct comparison between a commercial product (Netezza, Aster data, green plum) and your open source stack.
Maybe if you outlined a concrete use case people could make more intelligent comments.
