Hi I installed hbase on a gpfs directory and lanched it using bin/start-hbase.sh
Two servers on this gpfs filesystem run a similar program. This program accesses the hbase via GORA call: this.dataStore = DataStoreFactory.getDataStore(Long.class, Pageview.class, new Configuration()); However, when I am launching the second program on the second server, I get the following exception: [java] Exception in thread "main" java.lang.RuntimeException: org.apache.gora.util.GoraException: java.lang.RuntimeException: org.apache.hadoop.hbase.ZooKeeperConnectionException: HBase is able to connect to ZooKeeper but the connection closes immediately. This could be a sign that the server has too many connections (30 is the default). Consider inspecting your ZK server logs for that error and then make sure you are reusing HBaseConfiguration as often as you can. See HTable's javadoc for more information. I do not know how to solve that. It is strange, since only *two* programs use this HBASE connection. Thanks a lot Benjamin
