Yes, you are right. With "not running well" I meant the out-of-the-box HBase.
I've read about the protobuf solution in this matrix [0].
But anyway, we wanna run 0.96.1.1 and my main question is, what should I update
first, Hadoop or HBase. Or can I shutdown Hadoop and HBase and than start both
services again with the new Versions?
