hi, there. I have noticed that https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-3171 has dropped the -ROOT- Region, and use .META. Region only. If I can remember the previous logic of hbase, it can support .META. table splitting when necessary, from the new patch, it seems to me that it can only support only one region existing in .META.
