Hi all, I'd like to solicit your help in providing current rules of thumb and "best practices" for a section of the HBase Reference Guide. I've done some research and started a JIRA at https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-11791. I'd really appreciate it if you guys could take some time and weigh in. I'd like to get away from some of the "it depends" answers to these kinds of questions. Thanks in advance!
