I agree that compaction is a separate discussion. What I am trying to do here is:
1) Load 2 TB of data with single WAL on an empty table. 2) Load 2 TB of data with regiongrouping.numgroups = 2 on an empty table. 3) Load 2 TB of data with regiongrouping.numgroups = 4 on an empty table. to measure throughput improvements. Does this make a relevant test?
