1.0 has reached End of Life. If you'd like a reference guide from that release, you'll have to grab a specific 1.0.z release from
http://archive.apache.org/dist/hbase/ e.g. http://archive.apache.org/dist/hbase/hbase-1.0.3/ The convenience binary artifact (e.g. hbase-1.0.3-bin.tar.gz) will contain a copy of the reference guide in the docs folder.
