you can try this.(InputSplit class may vary depending upon the InputFormat
you are using,  below example is for TableInputFormat)
TableSplit tableSplit = (TableSplit)context.getInputSplit();
byte[] startRow=tableSplit.getStartRow()
byte[] endRow=tableSplit.getEndRow()
