Hello,When looking for ways to speed up the recovery of a failed RegionServer we found the setting `hbase.wal.split.to.hfile`.
This setting does seem to decrease recovery time in our application.
Does anyone know if this feature can be considered safe enough for production use? The fact that it is not mentioned in the documentation made us a bit hesitant to use it.
In https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-23634 there is some discussion but I could not make out whether there's a risk of data loss.
