I am interested in using the correlation UDAF available in version 0.7 (see https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-1549) but am using AWS Elastic Map-Reduce which is currently running version 0.5.
Is there a way to install this function in a older version of Hive? If not, can anyone suggest an alternative way to implement a correlation function in 0.5?
