Hi hadoop n00b: Jasperforge has some connectors for Hadoop. I have not tried them out yet as I am new to the JasperServer platform. It is on my todo list. It's presence on JasperForge suggests you can run it with the community edition of their JasperServer (and enterprise too).
JasperServer: http://jasperforge.org/projects/jasperserver Jasper "Big Data" connectors: http://jasperforge.org/projects/bigdatareportingfornosqlandhadoop/downloads <http://jasperforge.org/projects/bigdatareportingfornosqlandhadoop/downloads>The Jasper Hadoop related connectors, including Hive: http://jasperforge.org/plugins/esp_frs/release.php?group_id=428&id=117 Pentaho has Hadoop & Hive connectors, PDI connectors and whatnot: http://ci.pentaho.com/view/Data%20Integration/job/apache-hive-0.5.0/ Some info: http://forums.pentaho.com/showthread.php?77826-Hive-amp-Hadoop Both the JasperServer connector and the Pentaho connector might only work with their ETL tools, and not the OLAP tools. I'll check out OLAP4Cloud, thanks. Cheers! OLAP4Cloud claims that ability on HBase but I don't have much details on that. Cheers!
