Why Hive Result set does not have support for FETCH_REVERSE option

Hi,

I am using hive jdbc. I have a result set object, I want to navigate it in
forward and backward direction as well. By default result set behavior is
TYPE_FORWARD_ONLY. Why does hive jdbc does not have support for
setFetchDirection() method in ResultSet, to navigate result set object from
last to first?
