Hello ! I send you this mail because I have a cluster with multiple servers, with among them four edge servers hosting each one of them an hiveserver2 :
On two of them, there are HiveServer2 using HTTP as transport mode. On the other two, there are HiveServer2 using Thrift as transport mode. My question is the following : how can we configure high-availability for HiveServer2 without mixing the transport modes of the different hiveserver2 ? I mean, yes I would like high-availability, but I would like an high-availability for the HiveServer2 in HTTP and I would like another high-availability for HiveServer2 in Thrift. I checked the hight-availability for HS2 and it uses zookeeper, but I don't know how to avoid the mix between hiveserver2 in http transport mode and hiveserver2 in thrift transport mode.
