On Hive 1.2.1 with Tez (HDP 2.6.5) is there a way to force a Hive query using the HBaseStorageHandler to at least use one mapper per region. I'm trying to copy some data to a Hive Native table and it's doing everything through a single mapper even though the HBase table has 16 regions. The query is a very simple create temporary as select * from hbase_table; but the HBase table has a lot of records.
