Hi,

I'm cutting in to share some more information.

A Trino maintainer said Trino supports Hive 4, and another said there
are two known issues.

- https://github.com/trinodb/trino/issues/24453
- https://github.com/trinodb/trino/issues/24454

The first issue probably doesn't impact most people. However, the
second one might be if you have ACID tables. I'm addressing the second
one and plan to support improving the integration with HMS.

- https://github.com/trinodb/hive-thrift/pull/7

I'd appreciate it if you made reactions in the issue or PR so that
Trino maintainers know your attention.

Regards,
Okumin
