Ok I just saw from another post (http://apache-ignite-users.70518.x6.nabble.com/Persistent-CacheStore-and-backups-td1368.html) That if cache mode is TRANSACTIONAL, then the node that initiated the update will call the store.
So by changing my cache to TRANSACTIONAL, it seems to work consistently. Would this be the recommended solution?
