Alexander, No, there is no way to change cache topology in runtime. Client node doesn't store any data and by default never executes jobs or runs services. It also uses more lightweight discovery protocol, which allows to have a lot of clients to be connected to a single cluster.
But I'm still a bit confused, how will your deployment look like? Do you have a node embedded the application? Is it a client node or a server node? Where other nodes reside? -Val -- View this message in context: http://apache-ignite-users.70518.x6.nabble.com/Reducing-memory-footprint-tp3494p3549.html Sent from the Apache Ignite Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
