Hi, You can limit the size of the allocated off heap memory for a cache by setting CacheConfiguration.offHeapMaxMemory property. If it's exceeded, entries will start to evict from cache on LRU basis. If you have a persistence store, it will then loaded from from there. Otherwise, you lose the data.
