Sorry, you can get ExpiryPolicy without hacking

            Factory<ExpiryPolicy> factory  =
cacheCfg.getExpiryPolicyFactory();
            ExpiryPolicy policy = factory.create();
            long timeToLive =
policy.getExpiryForCreation().getDurationAmount();
