With the current API there is a chance that two backups will end up in the same group. c,d,e). As I responded in another thread, attributes are static and can't be changed after the node is started. Nodes exchange attributes with each other during the join process, so all existing nodes know in which group the new node is. Affinity will be assigned correctly according to the backup filter.
