Hi,

I guess that you should take a look from another point of view. You have two servers that should be compared to each other. Take a look at the following things:

1)Disk speed and size
2)Network latency
3)CPU and RAM capacities

I guess that these things will be more important than the used operation system.

However, can you describe your POC details? Probably it can help us to advise you something else.
